Food and oil

IMPORTED POST FROM OLD BLOG. ORIGINAL DATE: 23/11/2007

Richard Heinberg was speaking on this last night to the Soil Association in London, as reported in the Telegraph.

Basically, the problem is that as fossil fuels decline, we will end up with less food in the world, unless we make some big changes to the the way we produce food.

If you want to find out more, there's details of when he spoke at the Soil Association conference in January on a similar subject. His presentation is available here

The transcript of his talk is here

And the audio recording of his talk is here (7.9MB )

All the other stuff from the January speakers is here: http://www.soilassociation.org/conference
