Snow in the wood

OK, I wouldn't call it a deep covering of snow, more of a light dusting, but here it is:










We also pulled a load of leaves out of the culvert, which we spent so much time digging in the summer, and found that it is doing its job, although the outflow needs to be dug a little deeper:




Otherwise, the last few days have simply been focused on coppicing:


There's also been the occasional walk round my Dad's wood with him, looking at the interesting things he's found, such as this holly that's growing in a tree stump:
